Karen really took the time to tailor things just for us, with care, attention and discussion.

The kind of reflective, meditative yoga we practiced was made suitable for both myself, in my twenties and yoga experienced, and mum in her late fifties.

The holistic nature of things continued throughout our stay, with our wonderful guided walks along the cliffs and beaches, and woodlands, and fantastic companionship.

The facilities and rooms were comfy and cosy, and the varied meals of a very high standard, feeding our souls as well as our bodies.

It was really worth booking the treatments for the Saturday afternoon too from a very wide selection. I had an aromatherapy massage, Mum a Reiki treatment, both of which we hadn’t tried before, but certainly will again. And because the treatments were at the house, we didn’t have to rush about in the car or anything, and it felt like a real luxury. The effects of the treatments were extended because we were in a reflective atmosphere, and continued by the yoga practice.

Karen is so kind and caring, she put us totally at our ease and whereas spending a weekend with people we didn’t know at close quarters may have seemed daunting, it was an absolute privilege.

It was so uplifting, relaxed and full of great chats, we can’t wait to return!
